New hydropower project: run-of-river plant, 19.63 MW installed capacity, annual production of 96.38 GWh.
Final bids for the international tender by Elektroprivreda BiH for the 20 MW HPP Vranduk construction were submitted by: a consortium of RIKO Ltd. (Slovenia) and Euro Asfalt Ltd. Sarajevo; a joint venture of Strabag AG / Končar Engineering for Energy and Transport, led by Strabag AG (Austria/Croatia); Cengiz İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Turkey); Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited (China); and Cooperativa Muratori & Cementisti – C.M.C. di Ravenna (Italy). The tender procedure and contractor selection for a turnkey construction contract are expected to conclude shortly. Elektroprivreda BiH has also launched procurement for consultancy services covering Yellow FIDIC document approval and works supervision for the HPP Vranduk construction.
