Representatives of French companies from Cluster Montagne and CEDES, led by the French Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, presented the Final Report on the development plan for the Jahorina Olympic mountain, along with a development plan for the Dvorište site, to the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska, Predrag Gluhaković, as part of preparations for the 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival (EYOF).
“France is a leader in mountain tourism, and the experience we gain through these projects is valuable for improving the tourism offer at ski resorts in Republika Srpska — the Jahorina Olympic Centre stands to benefit in particular. Our goal is to build a modern cluster modelled on the French approach to winter and mountain tourism,” said Minister Gluhaković. The meeting highlighted the goal of putting Jahorina on the map of European ski resorts.
