The Bosnian-Slovenian consortium CEDES/PROVOBIS presented an Analysis of the Tourism Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, produced under the EU4Business project. The study analyses the sector's challenges, opportunities, and strategic recommendations, aiming to lay solid groundwork for policy measures supporting economic development in BiH's tourism sector.
Between 2008 and 2018, BiH recorded the second-highest growth rate in international arrivals in the Western Balkans, though this still accounts for only 3.3% of total international arrivals in the region. The study was produced under the #EU4Business project (EUR 16.1 million, funded by the EU and the German Government, implemented by GIZ, ILO, and UNDP), aimed at strengthening BiH's capacity for economic growth through competitiveness and innovation in selected sectors.
