Between April 2022 and May 2024, CEDES provided technical assistance to local governments in Bosnia and Herzegovina on implementing key strategic practices for municipal property management. The assignment reviewed existing property-management policies across 18 local governments, carried out a functional analysis of the relevant departments, and assessed internal capacity.
The work resulted in a strategy and operational plan for public property management, with particular attention to protecting vulnerable groups throughout the process. The project was funded by UNDP (Local Service Performance Improvement Project), financed by Sweden, worth BAM 117,791 plus VAT.
