Between June and September 2023, CEDES carried out an evaluation, for the Ministry of Security of BiH – Department for Combating Human Trafficking, of the implementation of the Strategy for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2020–2023. CEDES defined the evaluation methodology, conducted interviews with institutions, NGOs, and international organisations, and produced an Evaluation Report with guidelines for the next strategic-planning cycle.
The assignment also included a functional analysis and internal capacity assessment of the Ministry's department, and an analysis of existing policies, laws, and regulations across all levels of government in BiH. The work was carried out under the USAID/INSPIRE programme, implemented by the Institute for Youth Development KULT, worth BAM 25,600.
