2018–2019
Under the EC/UNDP Flood Recovery Programme, CEDES carried out a needs assessment across the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska, surveying more than 1,000 households and more than 100 companies across 44 local governments. The results fed into a purpose-built database and a sectoral value-chain analysis.
The assessment informed a set of economic-strengthening programme measures developed in cooperation with local governments and the private sector, infrastructure recovery analysis and plans (including the road, urban transport, and mobility sectors), SME and housing-sector recovery support, and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) plans for each of the 44 local governments. The assignment was worth BAM 119,482.
