CEDES prepared a Study on the Energy Supply of Sarajevo Canton, for the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Physical Planning and Environment. The study covered analysis and strategic development planning for the Canton's energy supply, including energy efficiency policy in households and industry, energy market liberalisation, testing of the ESCO concept, restructuring of the district heating system, and analysis of the natural gas market.
The study also assessed renewable energy potential in households and industry, and the restructuring of large energy-supply systems. The assignment was funded by the World Bank, worth EUR 103,640.
