The produced document:

• Provides a good quality analysis of the current situation and identifies entry points for the project interventions.
• Identifies/analyze already identified relevant stakeholders and existing development structures (service providers), supposed to support innovative activities at company level including their human and organizational capacities.
• Creates a set of baseline data to be used in the further stages of Project implementation. The purpose of compiling data on the current situation is to enable comparison of project achievements at different stages of the implementation of project activities in the forthcoming period of time.

The produced document assesses both the innovation gaps and absorbing capacities of the project counterparts (SMEs and service providers) in the following project localities: Banja Luka, Tuzla, Sarajevo, and Mostar, and in the sectors of Metal processing and plastic, Wood processing and Tourism.
