Cross border cooperation project Joint Efforts for 5% Less Waste (5% LESS) is funded from EU cross border cooperation program Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro.
CEDES d.o.o., implemented the complex technical assistance assignments and delivered "Study of the economy for development for urban plans of Sarajevo Canton”. CEDES undertook activities of Analysis of the state and structure of the economy of Sarajevo Canton and urban areas of Sarajevo Canton, evaluation of the distribution of economic zones, including industrial zones, analysis of land use efficiency, analysis of economic trends in the region, the definition of key advantages and preconditions as well as constraints for the development of economy in Sarajevo Canton and urban areas (including economic, social, spatial and environmental factors). The contract execution period was December 2018 – June 2019.
The project "Improving Social Services through Strengthening NGOs" in BiH is implemented by CARE Czech Republic and CARE International Balkans, and financed by Czech Development Agency. The project partners are local NGOs such as Amica Educa Tuzla, NGO "Budućnost" Modriča, NGO “Duga”, NGO "Otaharin", NGO “Sarajevo Open Center”, Association of patients with cerebral palsy and dystrophy Gorazde and NGO "Nešto više" East Sarajevo.
CEDES conducted a survey assessing the living conditions and needs of vulnerable populations and identifying employment opportunities and value chains.
